GENERAL PUPPY INFORMATION

Puppies have their tails docked and dew claws removed by my licensed veterinarian at 2 to 3 days old.   I  sell breed standard Australian Shepherds according to the breed standards set by AKC and ASCA.   Please refer to AKC.org and/or ASCA.org to view the breed standards.   

Puppies will be UTD on all dewormings and given age appropriate vaccines.     Medical Record will be included in your puppy packet.   Your puppy can be picked up around 7 to 8 weeks old or if shipping is needed via airlines or ground shipper at 8 weeks old and after.

Puppies are started on a premium puppy kibble; a sample bag will be included with puppy at pick up or on shipping.  I feed  Purnia  Pro  Plan  Focus Puppy  kibble.    It is recommended to keep puppy on a premium food that supports good growth development.   Petsmart has a good selection of premium pet food.  You can also order this food from Chewy.com and other suppliers on the internet.

Your puppy will come with a puppy packet that includes:
AKC and/or ASCA applications for registration, copies of all health testing of Sire and Dam, health record of 6 week check up by a licensed veterinarian and medical record of scheduled dewormings and vaccinations, a puppy spay/neuter agreement and a sample pack of puppy kibble.

If you would like to schedule a visit to view a puppy to make your choice, it is by scheduled appointment and only Monday - Saturday.   Sunday's are reserved for Church and Family.

I do not allow handling of any puppies in order to safe guard against any outside contaminants that may be carried unknowingly on your shoes or clothes, such as canine influenza,  parvo/distemper virus, kennel cough, etc.  Puppies are not vaccinated with their 1st booster shot until the age of 6 weeks old and are susceptible to outside germs/diseases.   They have some immunity from their mother but not fully.  This policy is put in place to protect the well being and health of the litter/s and adult dogs.    My first priority is to my puppies and dogs; their health and well being always comes first; no exceptions.  Thank you for understanding
