Genetic Health Testing through Pawprints Laboratory for a breed specific disease panel has been done on each girl and they are deemed genetically healthy for breeding. In addition, PennHips or OFA's for hips/elbows are done at 2 to 3 yrs of age. CAER (eye exam) done annually.

The girls at Smooreaussies are selected for breeding for good genetic health, temperament, and structure. They produce moderate to laid back drives that are biddable, smart, eager to please, affectionate and loyal. They are easy to train and easy to live with standard bred Australian Shepherds.
